MAALAEA BOAT HARBOR
This small harbor is reached via
access road off No. 30 (Honoapiilani Hwy) and has a boat launch, paved
wharf, boat berths, restrooms and parking
MAALAEA BEACH
On the Haleakala side of harbor, surfing is excellent near harbor side of
the beach just outside of the breakwater. This beach has also become a
popular jogging path. Maalaea Beach has steep beach bottom drop off and
heavy winds have a tendency to blow sand around.
KAPOLI
At the northern most portion of Maalaea Harbor, this beach has shallow
and rocky terrain and is covered with the very prickly kiawe. There are no
facilities.
