HANA AIRPORT
Some people fly in to Hana Airport and explore remote beaches in the vicinity known for their peaceful surroundings. Others prefer to drive on in fascination.

WAIANAPANAPA STATE PARK
Facilities provided are tables, grills, restrooms, showers and paved parking.

POPOLANA BEACH
Public access on Waikoloa Rd., is only a short distance from Hana where surfing is popular. There are no facilities and swimming is poor.

HANA BEACH PARK
A beautiful picnic spot with restrooms, pavilion, tables and a gathering spot for games on the beach. Not suited for swimming.

KOKI BEACH PARK
Further past Hana on No. 31, on past Opuohina is a roadside beach surrounded by ironwood trees. There are picnic tables and grills in this unique beach setting, but swimming is recommended in summer when waves can support body surfing. Currents dangerous.
