The International System
of Units
is the Metric System Used
In America
A FUN FILLED
AMERICAN METRIC LEARNING EXPERIENCE
that shares the precision
based concept of measuring
in human dimensions
WITH METRIC TIPS
that any monkey can appreciate.

Actually the
primate seen on this page is not in disguise
and is a paid professional Orangutan whose family of species
is also considered metric because just like humans
they too are all simply related
in 10.
"Okay, how about
dogs and the metric system?"
(video)
This will
explain it.
You divide
the
LENGTH
of
1
m (meter)
into exactly 10 parts,
and make a cube each side of which
measures 10 cm (centimeters)
and when we fill that cube container that is
10 cm x 10 cm x 10 cm (1000 cm³)
with water, like magic,
it has the
VOLUME
of exactly
1
L (liter).
But
then when you place this same cube filled with water on a scale it has
the MASS
of
exactly 1 kg (kilogram).
ALL SIMPLY RELATED IN
10!
